Coordinator Report

1. INTRODUCTION

I give thanks to God for His grace and faithfulness throughout this reporting period. This report outlines the activities, achievements, challenges, and overall progress of the mission site under my coordination. The primary objective of our mission remains soul winning, discipleship, and service, in accordance with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).

2. MISSION ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED

During the mission the following activities were carried out

i.We started by making our site in order by       serious cleaning of our rooms.

ii.We later did maping of Sifuyo area in             locality for proper facilitation of door to         door evangelism among our members.

iii.Door to door evangelism was done during    week days apart from Thursdays of which.    we designated for prayer and fasting

iv.Open air sessions was conducted                  everyday with the following sessions done    as per our programme.

v Family life was facilitated by Elder Kemboi

vi.New believers’ classes by youth leaders

vii.Children mentorship by a good number.        of children  teachers

viii Bible study was facilitated by.                         Pr.Biko, sermon by elder Geoffrey.        Ochieng. then Prophecy sessions later    during the evening hours by Ojijo.

We also found time on Sunday to visit other   local churches and felloshiped together

3. ACHIEVEMENTS AND IMPACT
By God’s grace, the mission site recorded the following outcomes:

A good number of souls were reached during door to door and open air sessions
The number of new converts were 13.
Those who were baptised were also 13.
Growth in attendance and participation
Strengthened faith and unity among believers
These achievements reflect God’s work through committed servants and the cooperation of the local community.

4. CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED
Despite the progress made, we faced several challenges, including:

i.Noise from other sources especially during  open air sessions.

ii.Drinking water was unsafe for us to an  extent we had to boil it. Some of our  members could opt for a by obligation

iii. Weather and environmental changes at.    some point  caused minor illnesses and that   intrupted the operations of a few of our    missionaries so balancing door to door    evangelism for some reasons became a  nutshell for our interest coordinator.

5 RECOMMENDATIONS
I would recommend that we do a proper site location with adequate requirements for accommodation to ensure that the welfare of the missionaries are satisfied, and also a suitable open air site with minimum interruption

6. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I thank God for His continued presence and direction in this mission. I also appreciate the leadership, partners, and all servants who have labored faithfully. May all glory and honor be given to God as we continue to win souls and build His Kingdom.

Children Report

REPORT ON SIAYA MISSION CHILDREN DEPARTMENT THAT TOOK PLACE AT SIFUYO IN SIAYA COUNTY FROM 21ST DECEMBER 2025 TO 4TH JANUARY 2026.

INTRODUCTION.

The mission started on 21st December at Sifuyo and our children classes started on 22 rd December. Children teachers were five in number namely; Beneti, Shem, Sharon, Elizabeth and Erick.

Children attendance started with 11 in number on the first day and it used to range from 20 to 42 in number .

Lesson we covered were one to thirteen .

ACTIVITIES.

In the mission field we were able to interact with the children and carry out some of the activities that helped us grow spiritually and also bond together and these were;

1 . Bible games and prayer session; we used to have different bible games and study  and also prayer session were kids we thought on how to pray.

2. Singing sessions.; before any lesson could begin or any activity at the open air we had a chance to sing church children songs and we could present them also to the congregation.

3.Mind games, colouring , modelling and balloon games;

We used to learn through practice and through so we involved ourselves in these activities that made the children understand our lesson and also draw their attention.

4.Door to door visitation;we were able to visit the home of the children and through it we got many of them coming to class early and their parents gained our trust .

ACHIEVEMENTS.

  1. All lessons were covered; we were able to cover all the thirteen lessons which was a good step and also a good growth for the children.
  2. Door to door visitation for all the children that used to come to class; were tried and at least visited almost each child.
  3. Spiritual nourishment; the children at least they were able to learn something related to the Bible because most of them are mostly familiar with tradition  songs and beliefs.

CHALLENGES FACED.

1.Christmas season ceremonies; during 25th December and 1st January the attendance was very poor and at times no child attended and this made us to combine some lessons which was difficult to the children to understand.

2. Language barrier; most of the children understood the luo language and this required us to have translators.

3.Resistence from parents; some of the parents were unwilling to let their children join us due to fear and some beliefs.

4.Inadequate gifts; children love gifts and whenever we gave them they used to come in good number in the next day and the gifts we carried were few this required us to go back to our pockets.

5. Inadequate teachers ; most of the teachers are good at handling the younger kids which makes the older ones to suffer.

RECOMMENDATIONS;

1.Children teachers to at least learn few words of a place we are going for mission before the actual mission time this will help them bond with the kids and understand them more.

2. The children department to increase the number of books and pencils that are used as gifts for motivation .

3.Training to be done to all missionaries  if possible because most teachers do come up in the mission field and they are not able to access the training and they are good teachers and ever willing to help.

4.Door to door visitation if possible to be given a chance to start on the first week it helps to bring more kids rather than being given a chance to come in on the second week.

CONCLUSION.

The mission was full of blessings and we look forward for more mission to come as we serve in the children department. Our interactions with the children helped us grow in all aspects and we hope to meet them one day in one of the follow ups and if not in heaven God willing.

Thank you  the AUSAA family  for the opportunity and the trust to work with us God bless you.

Catering Report

We thank the almighty Lord for the successful mission that was. In Sifuyo, we were lucky to have gotten a beautiful space where all our meals were prepared. We also had a cool room allocated for our store. In average, we were serving around 50 people for breakfast and supper. The lunches saw a higher number since the kids were also provided with food after their classes. We therefore had to adjust and add the food provided over lunch hour. On both sabbaths, we were able to feed both the missionaries and locals which was really beautiful. Foodstuff was added in week two and we really appreciated for that. We are also thankful for the money allocated in treasury which came through for us in purchasing of veggies and other emergencies.

Some of the challenges faced include inadequate utensils which necessitated borrowing from the locals and the school. The local elders and the school were kind enough to provide and we really appreciate. The other challenge was the late disbursement of the money meant for sossi. This accompanied with the limited variety in veggies made it hard to plan for ugali meals in the menu. The money was eventually provided and accompaniments for the skuma were provided and we appreciate. The other challenge was on drinking water. We had access to  tanks that had rain water but it was unsafe for drinking and was coloured .We therefore had to boil the water before the missionaries could partake. This proved challenging due to the inadequate sufurias . The other challenge was the adjustment of the menu in week one. This was especially because the meals indicated had not yet been provided (mostly for breakfasts). This was eventually sorted in week two.

Overally,we had a beautiful mission, and all the meals were enough. We thank the AUSAA team for all their efforts.

Organizing praying teams during open air sessions

Prayer teams were formed and assigned to pray during open air sessions. While some members were actively preaching or singing, the prayer teams interceded for the audience, the speakersand the overall flow of the program. This ensured open air activities were spiritually supported creating an atmosphere for effectibd ministry and reception of the gospel.

Organizing prayer and fasting sessions

Designated prayer and fasting sessions were organized during the mission. These sessions were aimed at seeking God's intervention for spiritual breakthroughs , guidance and fruitfulness of the mission.Membets were encouraged to participate wholeheartedly.

The department coordinated a night of prayer during the mission period. The session allowed members to spend extra time in worship, intercession and listening to God.The night of prayer strengthened spiritual unity, revived individual commitment and encouraged deeper fellowship among missionaries.

Preparation of the prayer box

A prayer box was prepared to allow missionaries and community members to submit written prayer requests. These requests were regularly prayed I er during devotions and prayer meetings. The prayer box helped capture personal and sensitive prayer needs that might have not been shared openly.

2.Improved participation in organized prayer activities over time.

3.Enhanced spiritual atmosphere during open air sessions and evangelism

4.Increased awareness of the importance of prayer in mission work

5.Encouraged personal spiritual growth and discipline among members

Challenges faced

Reluctance of members to pray during open air sessions.some members showed reluctance to participate in prayer during open air sessions, often preferring to observe rather than actively intercede

Need for maximum supervision during open air sessions- members required close supervision to ensure assigned prayer roles were fulfilled during open air sessions

Without supervision, some members lost focus or disengaged from their prayer responsibilities.

Members not waking up for prayer band sessions..

A number of members struggled to wake up early for prayer band activities.

Fatigue and lack of consistency reduced the intended impact of early morning intercessory prayers.

Recommendations

Continuous teaching on the importance of prayer in mission work should be emphasized before and during the mission.

Clear prayer schedules and duty rotations should be communicated in advance.

Leadership should model commitment to prayer to inspire members.

Encouragement and gentle accountability measures should be introduced to improve participation.

Conclusion

The prayer and fellowship department made a significant contribution to the mission by ensuring spiritual support, unity, and consistent prayer coverage.

Despite the challenges faced, the department achieved it's core objectives of fostering a prayerful atmosphere throughout the mission.

With improved preparation, teaching and commitment, future missions can experience even greater spiritual impact through strengthened prayer and fellowship activities.

Literature Report

SIAYA MISSION 2025

SITE 6  Ukwala District

Sifuyo Area

Greetings,

This is the literature report for Site 6, Siaya Mission.

Hard copy Discover Guides were received on 24th December 2025 (Wednesday). However, the copies received were few, with only one complete set and the other incomplete.

The available copies were distributed to the missionaries, who issued them to the candidates. Due to the insufficient number of hard copies, no students were fully enrolled using the printed study guides. To address this, candidates who owned smartphones accessed the Discover Guides through soft copies available on the AUSAA app. Missionaries also used the soft copy guides for study and teaching.

Despite this challenge, 13 candidates were successfully baptized. Each was issued with a Bible, Steps to Christ, and Wende Nyasaye.

Challenge

Inadequate hard copy Discover Guides for missionaries and candidate.

Recommendation

Timely distribution of sufficient Discover Guides to all sites is recommended.

Report compiled by,

Amos Muthomi.
